About the Hyundai Apprenticeship Programme
As a first-year apprentice, you will be trained and mentored by experienced professionals in the automotive industry. This structured training programme offers the opportunity to learn practical skills while working on real Hyundai vehicles and components.
Your scope of training and responsibilities will include:
- Removing, reconditioning, and replacing cylinder heads
- Dismantling, servicing, repairing, and assembling engine blocks and main components
- Diagnosing and replacing fuel system components
- Understanding the basics of automotive electronics
- Testing ignition systems and related components
- Learning about engine efficiency and forced induction systems
- Removing, testing, repairing, and replacing electrical components
- Removing and replacing clutch and transmission systems
- Diagnosing and repairing brake systems and components
This hands-on experience will help prepare you for a full career as a qualified automotive technician.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this apprenticeship opportunity at Hyundai, you must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science
