What You’ll Do
As a Procurement Graduate Trainee, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract management activities.
- Supporting inventory and purchase order management to maintain optimal supply levels.
- Engaging in market research and pricing analysis to support procurement decisions.
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve procurement and supply chain challenges.
- Learning the fundamentals of negotiation, supplier relationship management, and supply planning.
- Contributing to business process improvement and supporting supply chain efficiency initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this graduate opportunity in procurement, candidates must have:
- A Matric certificate and a BCom or BSc degree from an accredited institution.
- A keen interest or academic background in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or business operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a willingness to learn procurement software tools.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work both independently and in team settings.
- Previous internship or graduate programme experience (advantageous, but not required).
