July 2025 Sassa Grant
Sassa offers several permanent grants, including the Older Persons pension grant, Disability grant, War Veterans grant, Care Dependency grant, Foster Child grant, Child Support grant, Child Support grant Top-Up and Grant-in-Aid.
Sassa SRD Grant
Depending on your age and personal circumstances, you may qualify for one of these grants. The Sassa SRD grant is available for those over 18 years of age and not in receipt of regular income.
Applying For Sassa Grants For July 2025
1. Visit Your Local Sassa Office
You can apply for a grant by visiting your nearest Sassa branch. Staff will assist you throughout the application process for the July 2025 Sassa grant. If you're unable to apply in person due to illness or age, you may authorise someone to apply on your behalf with a written letter of consent.
2. Online Application
Sassa also allows online applications for the Child Support, Older Persons, and Disability Grants.
How To Apply For Sassa Grants Online
- Visit the Sassa Services Portal.
- Register as a new user.
- Log in with your username and password.
- Select “Apply For A Grant.”
- Choose the grant you wish to apply for (e.g. Older Persons, Child Support, Foster Child).
- Fill out the application form completely and accurately.
- Print the affidavit generated by Sassa and have it certified by a Commissioner of Oaths.
- Print, sign, and submit the Bank Payment Form along with the certified affidavit.
- Upload all required supporting documents in PDF format.
- Submit your application. You will receive a confirmation email or SMS with a reference number for tracking purposes.
Applicants are advised to refer to the official Sassa website for a full list of the documents required for each type of grant.
Processing of Approved Grant Applications
Once your application is submitted, you will receive a reference number, which serves as proof of submission. There are no fees involved in applying. Approved grants are typically paid out during the first week of each month, excluding weekends and public holidays. Funds remain in the beneficiary’s account until withdrawn.
