TVET College's curricula are continuously updated and revised subjects and the how-to access relevant curricula document through the circular.
Further elaboration of this will be in the next Department budget vote statement. Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Blade Nzimande proudly mentioned how along with his Deputy Minister Buti Manamela and Director-General Nkosinathi Sishi is championing the upgrading of South African TVET Colleges.
Nzimande added that as a country, we are faced with an ‘anomalous’ situation whereby there are more university students than TVET College students.
When NSFAS was introduced to TVET Colleges in 2009, this was the way of this department expanding and improving these institutions of higher learning.
