The Teaching Assistant programme will place 200,000 young people in local schools to help the teachers with the work. Those interested are encourage to apply to schools that are close by so they don't have to travel far.
However with only 2 days to go until applications close there are some schools that don't have many applications. Even at this late stage if you apply for a position there you are likely to get it.
SAYouth who are running the applications have released details of all schools and which ones, in each province, are low on applications.
There are two positions available under the programme: Education Assistants (EAs) and General Assistants (GSAs).
Review the lists for each province to see which schools are still low on applications. There are links on the document to schools that are still low on applications.
